Welcome to our field course blog! ／欢迎进入我们的野外课程！
Welcome to the 2010 edition of our China-Canada field course entitled “Aquatic Biodiversity & Environmental Assessment”. This is a collaborative exchange program between Fudan University (Shanghai), Southwest University (Chongqing), and Queen’s University (Canada). It involves 11 students from 6 Canadian universities (Queen’s, Western Ontario, Trent, Waterloo, Western Ontario, OUST) and 15 students from Fudan and Southwest. The course involves 2 weeks in China traveling from Chongqing to Shanghai and 2 weeks centered on the Queen’s University Biological Station, with excursions to the St. Lawrence, the Rideau Canal, Ottawa, and other locales. We have created this blog so that you may follow us in “real time” as we progress through the course as students write about and post their activities and photos.
