This blog was created to document the happenings of the 2010 incarnation of a joint China-Canada field course, a collaboration between Fudan University (Shanghai), Southwest University (Chongqing) and Queen’s University (Canada). The blog entries are written by groups of Chinese and Canadian students as they explore each others cultures, evaluate and discuss environmental impacts in both countries, and learn the myriad techniques that can be used in environmental assessment and biodiversity surveys.

What an amazing opportunity for the Canadian and Chinese students to experience this field course with such a diverse group. Your detailed blog makes me feel as though I’m there enjoying your adventure and day to day activities, it’s so informative yet you seem to have fun too. More photos of all the groups would be great!
